Karunagiri March 13th, 2010: the Arbor staff and Indian coordinator Dr. Luca Streri, together with MLA of Wyra Costituency (Member of Legislative Assembly) Dr. M. Chandravathi and Andhra Bank Manager Mr. A. Satyanarayana, have been awarded for their valuable efforts in the empowerment of poor women in the rural villages of Andhra Pradesh. The prize has been distributed during the women's day gathering hosted in Karunagiri - Khammam on March 13th.
More than 2.300 women participated and proudly stand for celebrating their success in their villages trough self help groups in the Arbor community based organization program.
