SOLAR COOKERS FOR THE RURAL VILLAGES OF ANDHRA

Naidupet March 16th, 2010: in collaboration with the Kakatiya University an innovative technology has been developed and tested by the Arbor staff. The solar cooker is a very simple device which is able to transform sunlight as useful and free of cost energy power for cooking and sterilize water or milk.
This easy to built and cheap system is going to be implemented in all the arbor villages. The construction of these items will give income generating opportunities to many men in the villages and its application will reduce the cost of cooking gas and deforestation.
More than 350 villages are in the list of beneficiaries.
