September 2012: the
Arbor scientific committee inaugurates a new research session in Andhra Pradesh
in cooperation with the Italian
University of Political Sciences
of Turin. The team http://arborresearch.blogspot.it/
composed by students, researchers, professors and operators from Italy and
India is involved in the coordinated study
and exam of the program, test and evaluation of the impact and implications of
the activities at local and individual levels. The program includes field work and
evaluations, social analysis, data collection and reviewing, reporting assessment
and support to the local development team. At academic level the team is also involved
in the support of the learning process, statistical analysis, improvement of the
communication program, publications and internationals scholarships. The research
team operates with a multi-method approach applying both the Capabilities
Approach according to Amartya Sen (Economy Nobel Price 1998) and Martha
Nussbaum philosophy.
